Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwar Swami gives new name to Congress MP Genny Ben

Banaskantha: Even before the Election Commission announced the date of Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Eknath Shinde government declared cow as the state mother in its state. After this decision, the demand for declaring cow as the mother of the state has started rising in other states of the country also. In Gujarat too, Congress has announced to bring a bill in the next assembly session demanding declaring the cow as Gaumata. Meanwhile, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Swami, who became the guest of Gujarat under the Gaumata Rashtramata campaign, has given a new name to Congress MP Geniben Thakor.

Addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwar Swami addressed Gujarat's lone Congress MP, Ganiben Thakor, as 'Ganiben'. At the same time, Fire Brand also addressed Hindu leader Praveen Togadia as 'Gaiya'.

Swami said that our ancestors used to call cow as mother. Who is not only the mother of India but also the mother of the world. Cow will have to be declared as the state mother in Gujarat also. Many people are doing business by slaughtering cows. If cow is our mother then how can it be slaughtered?

Let us tell you that Ganiben Thakor has already raised the issue of declaring cow as desi mata in the Lok Sabha. Even at that time, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati had praised her and said that Geniben had become a leader not only of Banaskantha but of the larger Sanatani.
