Chitrakoot, 03 March (HS). Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya, a prodigious talent and founder/lifetime Chancellor of Divyang State University, Chitrakoot, has been honored with the Jnanpith Award, the highest award of Indian literature, by the Bharatiya Jnanpith Trust, New Delhi. On the occasion of this, Chancellor Jagadguru Rambhadracharya was felicitated at the Divyang State University on Sunday among the saints, social workers, politicians, educationists, teachers, employees and students of Chitrakoot.
On this occasion, Banda-Chitrakoot MP RK Singh Patel demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give the country's highest honor Bharat Ratna to Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Maharaj, who glorified Chitrakoot, the holy place of Lord Shri Ram, at the international level.
The program was inaugurated by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya ji and Acharya Ramchandra Das, Vice Chancellor Prof. Shishir Kumar Pandey by garlanding the picture of Mother Saraswati. Saraswati Vandana was presented by Dr. Jyoti Vaishnav and Dr. Vishesh Narayan Mishra of the Music Department. The invited guests were welcomed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Shishir Pandey.
While addressing the Crown Prince of Tulsi Peeth, Acharya Ramchandra Das ji said that today we all are more happy with the most revered Gurudev Jagadguru Rambhadracharya ji receiving the Jnanpith Award than even getting the Padma Vibhushan. Because this award marks Jagadguru Shri's continuous service to Vaidushya and Sanskrit literature. Therefore, all of you thank the most revered saints of Chitrakoot, social workers, politicians, teachers, employees, students, media brothers. Today, the most revered Gurudev Ji is an invaluable heritage for the educationists in the educational world and also holds a special and important place in the religious field in India. You have written about 250 texts till now. Indian society will remember you for ages. Among the various projects run by you, Sahitya Seva, Disabled People's Service, Sant Seva, Cow Seva, are a source of inspiration for all of us.

Padma Vibhushan Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Maharaj, who was presiding over the program, while addressing said that today I am very happy that I have received this appropriate honor of my life in the form of Jnanpith Award. My creation of about 250 texts will inspire all of you saints and educationists in this material age. In the field of literature, he has written such huge epics which include Geet Mahakabya, Bhargava Raghaviyam, Bhriganduttam, Patra Kabya, Sanskrit Gadha Sahitya, Dashavatara, and is the first to write one-act plays.
