Jabalpur, June 20 (HS). The investigation team constituted by Collector Deepak Saxena inspected the crusher plant located at Amjhar in Kundam on Thursday. Revenue Sub-Divisional Officer of Section Kundam Monika Baghmare said that the inspection team inspected the crusher plant after receiving complaints of blasting around the said crusher.
He said that during the inspection, storage licence and temporary permit were found to be approved in favour of crusher plant Velji Ratna Sorathia. Upon inspection of the approved sites, it was found that ballast was stored illegally in area other than the approved area. The quantity of which was estimated to be approximately 50 thousand cubic metres. Action was taken on which and a case was registered. VRSI Company built temporary camp, residence and office in Khasra number 16 government pasture land. No permission was obtained for it. The company has done blasting in the alignment area of ring road construction, for which no permission was taken.
Due to the above irregularities, a case will be filed against the company before the Collector Jabalpur under Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code. Sub-divisional Officer Revenue Section Kundam, Tehsildar Kundam, Sub-divisional Officer Police Kundam, Police Force Khamhariya Police Station, Mining Inspector along with other concerned officers and local public representatives were present in the above proceedings.
