The proceedings of the teams formed by the district administration to check compliance of rules in all types of business units, hotels, restaurants, private hospitals, petrol pumps, gas agencies, medical stores and educational institutions continued on Tuesday also. According to the fixed roster, on Tuesday, the team led by SDM Aadhartal Shivali Singh and CSP Aadhartal Priyanka Karcham inspected Swastik Hospital, Medical Store, Bar and many nearby business establishments located at Deendayal Chowk.
During the inspection, the operator of Swastik Hospital was given a notice for not following the Minimum Wage Act 1948 and instructions were given to submit the report within seven days. Along with this, notice was also given to the hospital operator for not obtaining permission under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act.
During the inspection of Swastik Hospital, the team also inspected the Swastik Pharmacy, a medicine store located here. The inspection book was not found available at this medical store. The stock of Rivotril tablets was also not found matching in the shop. The firm has been directed to submit a reply if the stock is not correct. Samples of five medicines were also collected from the medicine store. These include samples of cough syrup, povidone ointment and antibiotic skin cream. These will be sent to the State Drug Analysis Laboratory Bhopal for testing.
The investigation team also inspected Cocktail 19 Bar located near Deendayal Chowk. The licenses, permits, stock register and other documents issued to the bar were examined. During this period, when the equipment used for measuring liquor was not found to be verified by the Weights and Measures Department, a fine was imposed on the operator. Samples of gram flour, soybean oil and soybean chunks from Cocktail 19 bars were also taken for testing.
The investigation team also reached to inspect the Aman Tiffin Center located near Vijay Nagar Police Station. During inspection, notice was given to the operator for lack of cleanliness in the kitchen and samples of turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and all purpose flour were taken.
