GRP immediately showed proactivity and arrested a person named Kanchedi Lal Rakeshiya, who is a resident of Gadarwara, near the lift built in the platform. When his belongings were searched, a tiffin box of food was found with him, which when opened was found to contain dal and roti.

A gold chain and a pendant were found inside the bread. When GRP called the goldsmith on the spot and examined it, the gold piece was found to be 100% pure.
