Jabalpur, July 16 (HS). Describing Jabalpur as a region with immense possibilities of industrial development, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that organizing a Regional Industry Conclave here will create a good environment for industrial development in the state. He said that our effort is to remove the inequalities in industrial development and for this purpose the government has decided to organize a Regional Industry Conclave at the regional level, so that special attention can be paid to the regional possibilities of industrial development and along with development, the people of the region can also get its benefits.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a meeting of public representatives and officials on Tuesday during his Jabalpur visit to review the preparations for the Regional Industry Conclave being organized here on July 20. Khajuraho MP and State BJP President VD Sharma, Jabalpur MP Ashish Dubey, Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu, MLAs Ashok Rohani, Sushil Kumar Tiwari Indu, Dr. Abhilash Pandey, Santosh Barkade and Neeraj Singh Thakur, District Panchayat President Asha Gontiya, Municipal Corporation President Rikunj Vij, BJP City President Prabhat Sahu, Akhilesh Jain, former minister Anchal Sonkar and Sharad Jain were also present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while describing Jabalpur as a prosperous region from the viewpoint of trade and business, said that along with big investment proposals, the difficulties and expansion possibilities of these local industries will also be discussed in the Regional Industry Conclave organized in Jabalpur.
He said that the government has also made several changes to encourage investment. The government wants that units to manufacture products from the raw material available in the state should also be set up here. He said that our effort is to provide a good platform to new entrepreneurs through the Regional Industry Conclave. The Chief Minister said that to speed up industrial development in Madhya Pradesh and bring big investments, Regional Industry Conclave will be organized in Gwalior, Rewa and Sagar after Jabalpur and a circuit will be organized at the international level in Bhopal.
He said that the government is also considering organizing a separate program with the IT sector and startups. In the meeting, the Chief Minister praised the preparations made for the Industry Conclave organized in Jabalpur and said that the conclave will bring forth concrete investment proposals and will accelerate the development of this sector as well as the state.
Khajuraho MP VD Sharma expressed his views in the meeting and said that there are good possibilities of agro industry in Jabalpur and Mahakoshal region. He said that efforts should be made to establish units as per the raw material available here. Sharma said that the organization of Regional Industry Conclave in Jabalpur is the result of the Chief Minister's new thinking of taking it towards overall development. This will also fulfill the vision of overall development of Madhya Pradesh. He also emphasized on connecting local citizens with the Regional Industry Conclave, so that they also develop attachment towards this event.
MP Ashish Dubey said that the decision of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to organize a regional industry conclave in Jabalpur will add to the progress of Jabalpur and Mahakoshal region. He thanked the Chief Minister for this and said that Jabalpur land is very fertile. There are a lot of possibilities in the field of agro industry here. Emphasizing on encouraging the readymade garments sector, MP Dubey also pointed out the need to attract the private sector in the field of defense.
Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh Annu said that there is a good atmosphere of enthusiasm regarding the organization of Regional Industry Conclave in Jabalpur. Jabalpur will definitely progress rapidly due to this meaningful effort of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. He said that Jabalpur is situated in the center of the country, hence efforts should be made to establish a semiconductor unit here.
The Mayor expressed the expectation of investment in a big hospital and education sector in Jabalpur. He also expressed the possibility of airplane parking in Jabalpur. MLA Ashok Rohani expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing the Regional Industry Conclave in Jabalpur and said that this event will prove to be a milestone in the overall development of Jabalpur. He emphasized on encouraging big companies of the IT sector to invest in Jabalpur. MLA Sushil Tiwari Indu told about the immense possibilities of investment in the dairy sector in the meeting.
MLA Neeraj Singh, while calling Jabalpur a leader in the production of peas, explained the need for setting up a food processing unit and food park. At the beginning of the meeting, a power point presentation was given on the outline of organizing the regional industry conclave. It was told that apart from sectoral presentation, one-to-one meeting and buyer-seller meet, bhumi pujan and inauguration of 64 units in different regions of the state will also be done in the conclave.
Collector Deepak Saxena told in the meeting that sectoral meetings have been organized with all the stakeholders regarding the Regional Industry Conclave. Saxena said that there is a lot of enthusiasm about this event in Jabalpur and good cooperation is also being received from the public representatives in making this event better.
