Jabalpur, 18 February (HS). Collector Deepak Saxena has instructed all Patwaris to maintain registers for regular inspection of government lands. In the instructions issued on Sunday for the protection of government land, he said that in order to easily identify the government land in the revenue village map, the area with government Khasra number in the map should be colored by the Patwari with red colored wax pencil.
He said that the Patwari should maintain regular inspection register of government lands, division wise and village wise. Enter details of adjacent lands or lands situated in a circle in one page in the register. After field inspection, Patwari and Revenue Inspector make necessary entries in the register and sign it.
The Collector said that the government land should be verified on the basis of map and register by senior officials of the Revenue Department during the village visit. The maintenance of the said register should be regularly reviewed by the Tehsildar and Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer during Patwari meeting and Patwari bag inspection. He said that the process of maintaining the register should be done before March 1 and regular inspection should be started. Regarding the security of government land, it will be regularly reviewed in the meeting of revenue officers.
Collector reviewed the arrangements for Rabi procurement
Collector Saxena held a meeting of concerned officials on Sunday regarding the arrangements for Rabi procurement. During this, he said that centers and sub-centres should be created for the committees that are eligible. Registration of Sikmi has to be done through committees, hence GMCCB was asked to form as many committees as possible. Farmers who have their own land and want to register their Rabi crops can do it through registration centre, MP online, CSC and kiosk. Wheat registration is ongoing and gram and lentil registration will run from February 20 to March 10. The Collector said that all officers should work cautiously in Rabi procurement. If there is any irregularity in this, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned officers.
