New Delhi, 2 December (Hindustan Reporter). Senior Italian Minister Adolfo Urso, who is on a visit to India, today met Union Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh. During this, both the ministers discussed expanding bilateral cooperation. The meeting between the two ministers focused on furthering collaborative efforts in science, technology, innovation and space exploration.
During this, Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized on the strong foundation of India-Italy relations and said, “India and Italy share a vibrant history of scientific cooperation. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are taking active steps to promote innovation and technology partnership, which will benefit both the countries.
It is noteworthy that India and Italy have long been partners in scientific research, especially through the synchrotron facility, Elettra, in Trieste. Italy’s interest in enhancing cooperation with India in areas such as space technology and advanced manufacturing has been highlighted.
