Dr. Amit told that with the changing weather and onset of winter, viral fever is a common problem among people, to avoid which everyone consumes dry fruits. Almond also comes in the category of dry fruits and its daily consumption is considered very beneficial.

Actually, Vitamin B, Vitamin E, fiber, protein, calcium, copper, magnesium and riboflavin are found in abundance in almonds. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids along with antioxidants. Eating almonds regularly is very beneficial for eyes, heart, skin and brain. The amount of fiber in almonds is also quite high, which is considered good for improving the digestive system.

If we talk about the nutrition present in almonds, then 100 grams of almonds contain about 576 calories. It contains 49 grams of fat, one milligram of sodium and 105 milligrams of potassium. Apart from this, it contains 12 grams of fiber and 3.9 grams of sugar. Every 100 grams of almonds contains 20 percent iron, 26 percent calcium, 5 percent vitamin B6 and 67 percent magnesium. At the same time, about 21 grams of protein is present in 100 grams of almonds.

If we talk about the ways of eating almonds, then it is eaten by mixing it with many food items like halwa, laddu. Apart from this, many people also eat almonds by roasting or soaking them. Consuming it on an empty stomach in the morning is considered more beneficial.
