It was difficult not to believe what BCCI said! These two star cricketers did not get a place in Team India

IND vs ZIM T20 Series: On one hand, the T20 World Cup-2024 is being played in the West Indies, in which the Indian team is performing brilliantly, on the other hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the Indian team for the T20 series against Zimbabwe. The eyes of the fans were on some special players. And when the team was announced, only one thing came out of their mouth that this punishment has become a little more stringent. Team Gill's tour will run from July 6 to July 16. In which 5 T20 matches will be played. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested for this tour. In such a situation, everyone was thinking that Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan would get a chance.

The board has not yet forgiven these two for their mistake

Since Monday morning, there has been a lot of discussion among fans on social media about Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. Everyone had assumed that one or both of them would be given a place on the tour, but ignoring Iyer and including Dhruv Jurel in the team before Ishan Kishan is enough to tell that the board has not yet forgiven the mistake of these two.

Both players are paying the price for one mistake

Even before the IPL started this year, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan made a big mistake. During the South Africa tour from December to January 2024 last year, Ishan Kishan returned to India citing mental fatigue. But after returning to India, he was seen partying and questions started being raised on him. Ishan's mistake was not the only one. On one hand he was calling himself unfit, on the other hand he was sweating in the gym with Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya. The BCCI did not like this. The matter got worse when he did not play domestic cricket despite the instructions of board secretary Jay Shah. Something similar happened with Shreyas Iyer. Despite the instructions of coach Dravid, Iyer did not play domestic cricket. And by the time he played for Mumbai, the damage was done. Both the players were ignored for selection in the World Cup team, while by not giving them a place in the team for the Zimbabwe tour, the BCCI has given a clear message that such attitude and mood is unacceptable.
