Maharashtra DCM Shinde: The suspense for the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra is over. It has already been announced that Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde will also take charge as Deputy CMs, but Eknath Shinde has again confused people by giving an ambiguous statement in the press conference whether he will be a part of the government or not.
What did Shinde say?
Eknath Shinde said, ‘I wish Fadnavis all the best. I will tell in the evening whether I will be a part of the government or not. Due to this statement of Shinde, there is a possibility of some major upheaval in the formation of Maharashtra government. Ajit Pawar has also justified this fear by giving a statement, ‘I am going to take oath tomorrow. But you will have to wait to know what Shinde’s decision is.
Grandfather has more experience in taking oath
Shinde further jokingly said, ‘Dada (Motabhai) has more experience in abusing. He has taken oath both morning and evening. As soon as he said this, everyone present there started laughing. Support to Fadnavis for CM: Two and a half years ago Devendra Fadnavis had announced Shinde’s name as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Now Shinde has recommended Devendra Fadnavis for Chief Minister.
He said, ‘All predictions proved wrong, this is the victory of the people, we are working hard for all.’ We have taken responsibility for their welfare and good performance. We not only take decisions but also implement them quickly.
CM and DCM are only technical systems
Maharashtra’s new Chief Minister Fadnavis will announce by this evening how many ministers will take oath with him. He further said that CM and Deputy CM is a technical arrangement. We will take all decisions together. I have met Eknath Shinde and appealed to him to be a part of the government. He has also given positive response.
