Prayagraj, 14 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad, a workshop was organized in Allahabad Medical Association Hall on Monday regarding coordination in execution of inter-departmental convergence works in various development schemes. The District Magistrate told the people to create inter-departmental coordination with a team spirit that mutual coordination increases administrative efficiency. He said that it is the joint responsibility of all of us to implement all the schemes and ensure that everyone gets their benefits.
In the workshop, the District Magistrate asked all the SDMs and concerned officers to identify land and make it available within 3 days for the construction of Panchayat buildings in Gram Sabhas, community toilets, RRC centers for solid liquid waste management in rural areas and other government buildings. He has asked to motivate people to install solar systems in more and more houses under PM Kusum Yojana.
He said that only district level officers should sign and send the disposal report of IGRS portal. They should not nominate their junior officers for this work. He said that all officers should keep redressal of public complaints as their main priority and any kind of negligence or indifference in this is not forgivable. Therefore, improve your functioning and all district level officers should also talk to the complainant themselves. He obtained information from the workshop itself regarding what action has been taken in some cases.
The District Magistrate said that no case should be a defaulter under any circumstances, departmental action will be taken by fixing the responsibility of the officers who are negligent and indifference in this work. He asked all the officers to upload the reports only after getting the IGRS complaints typed in the prescribed format for disposal and to categorize the disposal reports. He said that all feedback must be taken while ensuring quality disposal of all complaints.
DM said, all senior officers should monitor the complaints related to their department daily and under no circumstances should the cases become defaulters. In disposal of serious cases, Sub-District Magistrate and Block Development Officer should themselves conduct on-site inspection. The mobile number of the complainant should be mentioned in all complaint letters. He directed all the Sub-District Magistrates and Block Development Officers to make agenda points on the pending points and hold meetings with the concerned officers and employees every week and get them resolved.
The District Magistrate said that all the officers will be disposing of the complaints on the report format made for redressal of IGRS complaints and everyone will provide the type report of each disposal on this format.
He asked that the reviewer and forwarding officer's comments regarding quality disposal be written in the format. If the work is not worth doing, it should also be clearly mentioned. He said that all of you should hold a meeting with all the personnel under you and ensure that the work is completed in a clean manner.
