After Hungama, Rimi Sen got back to back films out of which films like Baghban, Dhoom, Kyunki, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri, Deewane Huye Paagal, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Dhoom 2, Johnny Gaddar were also hits but after a long time she started staying away from films and then she stopped getting films. Rimi did not get any benefit from 'Bigg Boss' either. Therefore, she takes responsibility for her mistakes herself.
I did not approach Salman for work
In an interview, actress Rimi Sen was asked if Salman Khan helped her after 'Bigg Boss', how was her relationship with Salman Khan? So Rimi Sen said, 'I have a good bonding with Salman. We did the film 'Kyunki' together. He is a gentleman and a handsome person. Also, his nature and behavior are very good. But I never approached him for work.' When someone does not get work in the film industry, he goes to Salman for help and he also helps. But I do not like to burden anyone. If I am lucky, I will get a job. Salman gave me a chance.

Rimi Sen further said, 'When I came from Kolkata, I had nothing except what God gave me. So if you are lucky, God will give. Salman Khan has the power, that's why people go to him for help. But why should he help me when I made a mistake. I didn't have to do my PR, so my career ended. If you don't know how to sell your talent, then nothing can happen in your life, no matter what field it is.'
