It does not seem that there has been any change of heart…: Supreme Court again reprimands Baba Ramdev

Patanjali misleading advertisement case: Hearing was held in the Supreme Court today in the case of misleading advertisements of Patanjali. Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna appeared in the court. Baba Ramdev apologized unconditionally to the Supreme Court. The bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Ahsanuddin Amanullah is hearing this case. In the last hearing, the Supreme Court had reprimanded Baba Ramdev as well as the government. The Supreme Court also refused to accept Baba Ramdev's apology and asked for action. Now the hearing of this case will be on 23rd April.

What happened in today's proceedings in the Supreme Court?

After the hearing started in the Supreme Court, Baba Ramdev's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi said- We apologize unconditionally. On this, Justice Hima Kohli asked Baba Ramdev, 'Should you forgive whatever you have done?' In response, Baba Ramdev said, 'I want to say that we apologize unconditionally for whatever mistake we have committed.'

Justice Hima Kohli said, 'We have not forgiven you yet. We will think. If the company was worth so many crores, he would not have done this. Baba Ramdev said, 'This will not happen again.' The court said, we have not yet decided whether to forgive you or not. You have committed the crime not once but three times.

•Justice Amanullah said, 'Law is equal for everyone.' Baba Ramdev said, 'I will be careful about this from now on. This happened in the excitement of work. It will not happen again'.

•Justice Hima Kohli told Acharya Balkrishna, 'It does not seem that there has been any change of heart… You are still firm on your point. We will consider this on April 23.
