ISRO will send another robot for testing this year. In the tests conducted last year, it became clear that even if there is a malfunction in the rocket, the astronauts can be evacuated safely.
Announcing the names of four officers selected for the training of Gaganyaan mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that these four are not human beings but have the power to take the aspirations of 140 crore Indians to space. After 40 years an Indian will go to space. The special thing is that this time both the rocket and the countdown will be ours. If Gaganyaan is successful, India will become the fourth country to send a human into space. Before this, only America, Russia and China could achieve this success.
