Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief S Somnath was battling cancer at the time of the launch of India's Sun mission Aditya L-1.
Somnath confirmed this in an interview and said that cancer was detected in the scanning. Some health related problems also arose during the launch of Chandrayaan-3 mission.
