Israeli attack on Gaza hospitals, 400 people died in 13 days

Israel's fear over Gaza is not showing signs of diminishing. The death toll of Palestinians is increasing day by day. It has been about 6 months since the war between Israel and Hamas started. Recently the Israeli army attacked a hospital in Gaza. The Israeli army surrounded the hospital for several days.

On one hand, many countries are expressing their desire for a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza, while on the other hand, Israel's attacks on Gaza are increasing. Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza was besieged by the Israeli army for 13 days, during which it carried out continuous attacks on the hospital. According to the report, more than 400 people have died in the Israeli attack. The dead included hospitalized patients, health workers and those injured during the war.

The condition of more than 9 thousand patients is critical

The World Health Organization said that there are more than 9,000 patients in Gaza whose condition is very serious and who need to be taken abroad for treatment as soon as possible. Many patients admitted to the hospital are suffering from stubborn diseases. One of these is a 12 year old girl, who is seriously ill. An international medical team is working for his care and treatment. Along with attacks, hunger is also a big problem in Gaza.

Ships sent for food and other supplies

As recently as March 30, a convoy of three ships departed from a Cyprus port for Gaza carrying 400 tons of food and other supplies. This ship and barge ships are so large that over 1 million meals can be prepared from items such as rice, pasta, flour, beans, canned vegetables and proteins. Also on board were dates, which are traditionally eaten to break the daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

All this information was provided by the World Central Kitchen charity. However, it is not yet clear when all these ships will reach Gaza. The charity supplied 200 tonnes of food, water and other essential items to Gaza earlier this month. Earlier this month the United Nations and others warned of famine due to the situation in Gaza.
