Israel's attack on Gaza: There are continuous attacks from Israel in Gaza. Once again Israel has attacked the hospital in Gaza. Palestinian hospital officials say 17 people have been killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza.

A house sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip, was heavily attacked by Israel, according to the head of the nearby hospital that received the bodies. At least 17 people have died in this incident. Dr. Fadel Naim, head of al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City, said nine women were among the dead and the death toll could rise as rescue operations continued.

Israeli forces have surrounded and largely isolated Jabaliya and the surrounding towns of Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun for the past month. There is very limited humanitarian aid available here. Thousands of people have fled towards Gaza city.

According to reports, the entire northern part of Gaza was the first target of Israel's ground attack in the 13-month war and the entire area has been destroyed.

Meanwhile, Qatar has distanced itself from efforts to end the war in Gaza. Along with this, Qatar has asked the Palestinian organization Hamas to close its office in Doha. This step has been taken in view of Hamas's refusal to release Israeli hostages in Gaza and its tough stance on the ceasefire. It may be mentioned here that Hamas officials were allowed to work in Qatar since 2012.
