Israel opens food supply route to Gaza: But Rafah attack hinders

New Delhi: Due to the Israeli invasion, the entire Gaza Strip has become a plain and there is a huge shortage of food items there. Then, the United Nations is moving towards Egypt through the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. It was sending food items. At that time Israel had bombed Rafah and at present that route has also been closed. Once again there is a threat of drought-like conditions in Gaza.

Basically, the Israeli military is not able to send food supplies to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank either through Israel or by other routes, as both areas have turned into a war zone.

In fact, Israeli army officials have allowed Gazan traders to buy grains, fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products from Israeli and Palestinian traders, on the other hand, attacks on Rafah are also continuing. Rafah is the main gateway to Gaza Strip from Egypt. Therefore, the aid sent from Egypt has stopped. Aid workers and employees sent by the United Nations say. We need 600 trucks of food items every day, against which only 150-200 trucks are able to come due to the war in between, so the situation has become very sad.
