At Harvard, students flew Palestinian flags on poles reserved for the American flag. The main flagpole was not spared.

Palestinian flags were also flown over the windows of the room for the White House Correspondents' Association dinner at the top of the Hotel Heils in Washington.

The police have arrested a total of 275 students in connection with these riots. These include 100 students from Northeastern University, 80 from Washington University in St. Louis, 72 from Arizona State University and 23 from Indiana University.

Pro-Israel and pro-Palestine students have camped on the campus of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) since last week.
