Israel-Hamas war: The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attack the Nour al-Shams refugee camp in the West Bank At least 14 civilians were killed during a military operation. Palestinian ambulance driver shot dead by Israeli settlers

The ministry cited the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) as saying that an ambulance driver was killed by Israeli settlers as he attempted to transport injured Palestinians to safety, while another ambulance crew was shot dead in a fire in the West Bank. Detained and interrogated by the IDF outside the hospital.

It said the driver, Mohammed Awad Allah Mohammed Musa (50), was working with the PRCS and was shot dead by Israeli settlers who opened fire on his ambulance.

“The Ministry urgently calls on international health organizations, human rights institutions and the International Committee of the Red Cross to take immediate action to curb the occupation and aggravated practices of settlers against treatment centers and medical staff and allow them to carry out their humanitarian duties Is. ,” the ministry said in a statement.

'Gross violation of humanitarian laws'

The Palestinian Health Ministry called the targeting of physicians, ambulances and medical staff a “clear and obvious violation of international humanitarian law.”

“Targeting physicians, ambulances, treatment centers and medical staff, hindering their movement and preventing them from reaching the injured is a clear and blatant violation of international humanitarian law and international norms and treaties,” the ministry said.

IDF claims “terrorists” killed in West Bank operation

On Friday, the Israeli military said several Palestinian gunmen were killed and four soldiers were wounded during an anti-terrorism raid in the West Bank's Nour al-Shams refugee camp near Tulkarem, The Times of Israel reported.

The IDF said its troops and Border Police officers conducted overnight raids in Nour Shams, during which several wanted Palestinians were detained, explosive devices were found, and several gunmen were killed in clashes throughout the morning.

Meanwhile, video shot by residents of a West Bank refugee camp shows a bulldozer destroying a building as IDF vehicles leave the camp after raiding it for more than 24 hours. Other videos showed ambulances entering the camp after the IDF withdrew from the scene.

He said that the Israeli army had immediately left the area. However, they are still present in the nearby town of Tulkarm.
