Islamabad, 10 October (HIST). The administration has received a strong blow from the court in the case of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House sealed in Pakistan's capital Islamabad. Islamabad High Court today ordered opening (de-sealing) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House.

According to ARY News channel report, the petition filed through the Secretary Administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was heard by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq today. In the petition, the High Court was requested to order de-sealing till the final decision. It was also argued in the petition that this house is the property of the provincial government. Its sealing is illegal. Also, taking possession of government vehicles after sealing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House is also illegal.

Chief Justice, Farooq, after hearing the initial arguments, ordered the de-sealing of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House. It is noteworthy that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had sealed A and B blocks of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House a few days ago. The sealing drive was led by Special Magistrate Sardar Mohammad Asif. According to the CDA, C Block was not sealed because families were living there.
