ISKCON Bangladesh refuted the false allegations, said – the only aim is to tarnish the image of ISKCON and spread unrest.

Dhaka, 02 November (HS). ISKCON Bangladesh has refuted the misleading and baseless allegations being spread against ISKCON. ISKCON on Saturday said that its organization has always worked for humanity, religion, peace and cultural upliftment and these allegations have no connection with the truth.

In this regard, ISKCON Bangladesh held a press conference today and issued a release. In this, senior leader of ISKCON Bangladesh Chakrapani Das Brahmachari said that many false and defamatory allegations have been made on ISKCON through some newspapers and media. He said that these allegations are being spread only with the aim of tarnishing the image of ISKCON and creating unrest in the society. He has refuted the misleading and baseless allegations being spread against ISKCON.

ISKCON says that their organization has always been promoting religious tolerance, national unity and humanity in every section of the society. He has appealed to the public and concerned authorities not to believe these false rumors and instead understand the real actions and objectives of ISKCON.

Along with this, ISKCON has requested the Bangladesh government to keep a strict vigil on the propagation of such false and misleading news. The organization has also demanded strict action against those involved in such propaganda so that the religious freedom and dignity of ISKCON and its followers can be protected.

Chakrapani Das Brahmachari has appealed to all ISKCON devotees to maintain peace and faith in the objectives of the organization. He said that such allegations will have no impact on the work of ISKCON and the organization will continue its religious and social work with full devotion.
