Isha Koppikar

Isha Koppikar recently spoke about her struggle and challenges in Bollywood. She also said how uncomfortable she felt romancing an older hero onscreen.

In an interview, Isha said that by doing this, she felt as if she was hugging her father. In an interview, Isha said, 'I used to feel uncomfortable working with heroes who were 30 or 20 years older than me. When I was working in films, I was feeling very uncomfortable then.' Working with an older hero does not feel like you are hugging a spouse or lover, but it feels like you are hugging your father. I also feel the same. 'I was new then' Isha said about the onscreen romance of senior actors with young actresses, 'Senior actors should understand how they look now and then choose roles accordingly. I hope that there will be a change in this now because the audience is not foolish. I have heard the audience in the theater saying that he looks very old, sitting at home and romancing a girl of his daughter's age, which is true, the audience says boldly. Because of social media now everyone knows the truth.

Isha made her debut in 1998 with the Tamil film Kadhal Kavithai. She also won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for this film. Isha made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with the film 'Fiza'. The film starred Karisma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. Till now she has worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Hindi films. Isha's iconic films include 'Krishna Cottage', 'Don', 'Kya Kool Hain Hum', 'LOC Kargil' and '36 China Town'. Isha sang the song 'Khalsa' in the 2002 film 'Company'.
