From Diwali to Chhath, long queue of holidays!

• 20 October (Monday): Banks will remain closed in almost all the states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Tamil Nadu on the occasion of Diwali, Narak Chaturdashi and Kali Puja.
• 21 October (Tuesday): There will be holiday in states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim due to Diwali and Govardhan Puja.
• 22 October (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, UP and Bihar on the occasion of Diwali, Govardhan Puja and New Year.
• 23 October (Thursday): On the occasion of Bhai Dooj, banks will remain locked in states like Gujarat, UP, Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.

• 25-26 October: Due to the fourth Saturday of the month and then Sunday, banks will remain closed for two consecutive days.
• October 27-28 (Monday-Tuesday): There will be a bank holiday in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
• 31 October (Friday): Banks will remain closed in Gujarat on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.

So what should you do now?

It is clear that the remaining month of October is full of holidays. If you have any work like depositing a cheque, updating your passbook or withdrawing cash, get it done today.
