- 21 October (Tuesday): There will be holiday in states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim due to Diwali and Govardhan Puja.
- 22 October (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, UP and Bihar on the occasion of Diwali, Govardhan Puja and New Year.
- 23 October (Thursday): On the occasion of Bhai Dooj, banks will remain locked in states like Gujarat, UP, Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.

- 25-26 October: Due to the fourth Saturday of the month and then Sunday, banks will remain closed for two consecutive days.
- October 27-28 (Monday-Tuesday): There will be a bank holiday in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
- 31 October (Friday): Banks will remain closed in Gujarat on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
