Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, the Irish team scored 149 runs, in response to which the Afghanistan team was out for 111 runs. A star player from Ireland made a record in this match which players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam could not make.
