Beirut: Tensions are constantly rising in the Middle East. Hezbollah launched drone attacks on northern Israel on Monday morning. Two Israeli soldiers were injured. Fires have broken out in many places. These attacks have taken place at a time when tensions have risen across the Middle East after the killing of a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon and a Hamas leader in Iran last week. He wants to carry out his threat of retaliation against Iran after the killing of the Hamas leader in Iran. There is every possibility of it hitting Israel at any moment.
On the other hand, Hezbollah has said that it has attacked northern Israel in response to the attacks and killings carried out by Israel in several villages in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah has vowed to take revenge from Israel.
The Israeli army has said that a fire has broken out in several places in the city of Lat, located north of the Sea of Galilee. Efforts are underway to extinguish it.
Israel and Hezbollah have been attacking each other almost daily for the past 10 months since the Gaza war began.
Tensions have escalated in the region since the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran and Hezbollah commander Shukrat in Beirut.
“Two people, including a paramilitary, were killed in an Israeli drone strike near a cemetery in one of our villages,” an official Lebanese organization said.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a cabinet meeting on Sunday that Israel is already fighting Iran and its allies.
On the other hand, the US has sent a small fleet of warships including an aircraft carrier to the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea to protect its ally Israel. Israel has also been given 18 modern warplanes.
