Iran attacks Israel: World scared

Tehran: While the world is currently fighting a war on many fronts, Iran has opened another front by attacking Israel. To avenge Israel's attack on its embassy in Syria, Iran attacked Israel with more than 300 missiles and drones late Saturday night, 13 days later. However, Israel claims to have foiled 99 percent of Iran's missile-drones. Now he will retaliate against Iran. However, the US reportedly prevented Israel from responding immediately. On the other hand, Iran claimed that it had informed neighboring countries and the US about the 'limited attack' 72 hours in advance. Experts believe that this attack has pushed the world towards the third world war.

Israel attacked Iran's embassy in Damascus, Syria on 1 April, killing seven of its military officers, including two senior generals. To take revenge, Iran attacked Israel late Saturday night with more than 170 drones, more than 120 ballistic missiles and more than 30 cruise missiles. Iran is said to have used various weapons to evade Israel's air defense systems. Iran has called this attack 'Operation True Promise'. After the attack, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that the attack is over. But if Israel retaliates, it will face a more serious reaction. Iran launched its first direct military attack on Israel on Saturday night, despite growing hostility toward Israel since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. However, Israel's air defense system foiled the attack. The Israel Defense Forces said their attacks would be stopped where necessary. In this connection, a meeting of the War Cabinet has also been called in Israel.

Along with Iran's attacks, the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah has also continued its attacks on northern Israel. In response, Israel bombed a Hezbollah weapons production facility in northern Lebanon. Tension has increased in the Middle East since the attack on Israel. Several Middle-Eastern countries, including Israel, have closed their airspace and diverted commercial aircraft flights. Israel has closed its airspace to all domestic and international flights. Jordan and Lebanon have also announced temporary closure of their airspace. Jordan's air defenses are prepared to shoot down Iranian drones or planes that violate its airspace.

After Iran's attack, America has openly come out in support of Israel. The US Defense Secretary spoke to his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant and expressed the commitment of US support to Israel in this difficult time. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that we have put the defense system to work. We are ready to face any situation. Netanyahu spoke to US President Biden on the phone. Both the leaders discussed the current situation.

Israeli sources say that the US prevented Israel from immediately responding to the attack. Biden has said that the US is committed to Israel's security, but will not be in favor of further escalating the situation. Israel prepared to launch an immediate retaliatory strike against Iran, but the US opposed its plan and prevented it from attacking.

Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabadollahi claimed that he had warned neighboring countries 72 hours before the attack on Israel. We have informed our friends and neighbors of our firm, legal and irreversible response to Israel. He said Iran had informed Washington of the 'limited' and 'self-defensive' attack against Israel. Sources further said that Israel has foiled the Iranian attack, but this attack has caused a blow to its economy of more than 1.3 billion dollars. $1.3 billion was spent on jet fuel, missile interceptors and other resources for a defense system used by Israel to thwart Iranian missile and drone attacks.
