Iran attacks again in Pakistan, Jaish-al-Adal commander killed

Irani has once again attacked Pakistan. His army has attacked the bases of Jaish-al-Adl, in which the commander of the terrorist organization Ismail Shahbaksh and some of his associates have been killed. It is reported that the Iranian Army has killed terrorist Shahbaksh by entering near Pakistan's border province of Sistan-Baluchistan on Friday evening. Recently both the countries had carried out air strikes on each other.

Jaish al-Adl Sunni terrorist group

Jaish al-Adl was formed in the year 2012. Iran has declared it a terrorist organization. This is a Sunni terrorist group. This organization operates from Sistan-Baluchistan, the south-eastern province of Iran. Over the past few years, Jaish al-Ad has targeted and attacked Iranian military personnel. In December last year, Jaish al-Ad had attacked a police station in Sistan-Baluchistan and claimed responsibility for it. At least 11 policemen were killed in the attack.

An agreement was reached between Pakistan and Iran

Media reports said Pakistan and Iran had agreed to cooperate in security after air strikes on terrorist hideouts in each other's territories last month. The agreement was announced by Pakistan Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdullahian at a joint press conference. Meanwhile, Jilani said that both Iran and Pakistan can resolve the misunderstanding soon. Both countries also agreed to fight terrorism in their respective regions and address each other's concerns.

After the attack, there is a possibility of tension between the two countries increasing once again.

Iran launched missile and drone strikes into Pakistan late on 16 January to destroy two headquarters of Jaish al-Adl. Pakistan alleged that two children were killed and three girls were injured in the Iranian attack.

Pakistan retaliated against Iran on January 18

After the attack, Pakistan recalled its ambassador from Iran on 17 January. A day later, on January 18, Pakistan retaliated by attacking Iran. Islamabad said it targeted positions of terrorist organizations Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).
