Iran admitted the attack
Iran acknowledged attacking military targets in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces. According to Israeli media, attacks have been carried out against Iran in three phases. Citing US and Israeli officials, the report said, 'The first phase of the attack focused on Iranian air defenses, while the second and third phases targeted missile and drone bases and production sites.
America's warning to Iran
According to Israeli media, a senior White House official said, 'We have sent a message to Iran that if Israel responds, we will protect it.' A senior Biden administration official said direct firing between Iran and Israel must stop. He further said that the US has many direct and indirect channels of communication with Iran where it has made its position clear. Alerting Iran about the attack by the Israeli army, he said, 'We are ready for both attack and defense.'
More than 100 Israeli aircraft took part in Saturday's attacks on military targets in Iran. F-35 fighter jet has been used in this attack from a distance of 2000 kilometers. A US official said the US was briefed about the attack on military targets in Iran but was not involved in the operation.
