This does not include Pakistan, whose players have not got a chance to play in IPL since 2008.
Cricket Australia has approved all its international and domestic players to play in IPL 2025. However, Australia is scheduled to play a three-match ODI series in Pakistan in 2026, which Cricket Australia has announced will end before March 18.

Players from multiple countries will be available for all three seasons
After the series against Pakistan, Australian players will join IPL 2026. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has also submitted a list of 18 central contract players who will be available for the next three seasons. Apart from Australia and England, players from South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will also be fully available for the next three seasons.
Mega auction to be held in Jeddah
Ahead of next year’s IPL 2025, the mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this, the future of players like Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell is at stake. A total of 574 players will participate in this mega auction. Of the 574 players, 366 are Indians and 208 are foreigners, including 3 from friendly countries.
