IPL 2024 Video: Suryakumar Yadav holds the bat for the first time after surgery, hints at return to IPL

New Delhi: Indian team's middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav is once again in the headlines. He is being discussed everywhere. Everyone knows that Surya has been away from the cricket field for a long time due to ankle surgery but he is recovering after the successful surgery.

While he is seen sweating in the gym, Surya recently shared a story on his Instagram account, in which he is seen holding the bat for the first time after the surgery. In his story, he shared a video of a few seconds while practicing on the net, after which the happiness of Indian fans knew no bounds.

Actually, Suryakumar Yadav last played for India in the third match against South Africa, in which he sprained his ankle while fielding. He scored a brilliant century in the first innings of this match. After this, during the second innings, he got injured while throwing the ball after stopping the shot of the African batsman. Seeing him writhing in pain on the field, the physio team arrived.

Although after the match he said that he was fine and the injury was not too serious, but when he returned to India, a scan of his ankle revealed a grade-2 tear. After this it became clear that he was no longer available to play. He then went to Germany for sports hernia surgery followed by ankle surgery.

Meanwhile, ahead of IPL 2024, Suryakumar Yadav has shared a video on his social media indicating that he is recovering and will be seen playing in IPL 2024.
