IPL 2024 schedule announced, first match will be played between these teams, this is the schedule of 21 matches

The schedule of Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has finally been announced. The schedule for the first two weeks of IPL 2024 from 22 March 2024 to 7 April 2024 has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 21 IPL matches will be held across 10 cities over a two-week period.

During this period, every team will get to play at least three and maximum five matches. The opening match of the 17th season of IPL will be played between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22 in Chennai. The first weekend will see two double headers.

Rajasthan Royals will play their first match against Lucknow Super Giants at their home Sawai Mansingh Stadium on March 24. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has so far released the schedule for only two weeks in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
