IPL 2024: Punjab Kings XI team will reach Dharamshala today, match will be held on May 5

The Punjab team will reach Dharamshala on Thursday for the match against Chennai on May 5 at the International Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala. The Punjab team will land at Gaggal Airport at 2.30 pm by a special flight from Chennai. HPCA officials will welcome the players here. From here the players will leave directly for Radisson Blu Hotel located in Kandhi.

The Chennai team will come to Dharamshala on Friday. The IPL match will be played between Punjab and Chennai in Dharamshala on Sunday. The team from Chennai will reach Dharamshala at 1.30 pm on Friday. Apart from this, on May 6, the RCB team will land at Gaggal Airport at 1 pm. Punjab Kings XI team will practice in the stadium on May 3 from 2 pm to 5 pm. On May 4 also, the Punjab team will participate in the practice session from 2 to 5 pm. The Chennai team will sweat in the practice session from 6 pm to 9 pm. Apart from this, the match between the two teams will be played on 5th May. 6th May will be a day of rest. Apart from this, the Royal Challenger Bangalore team, which arrived on 6th May, will practice in the afternoon on 7th and 8th May. Punjab team will practice in the evening.

HPCA in charge Mohit Sood said that HPCA has completed all its preparations for these two IPL matches and HPCA officials believe that a large number of cricket lovers will reach Dharamshala Cricket Stadium to watch these two cricket matches. Along with this, District Kangra Police has also prepared its plan for these cricket matches and police personnel are ready to maintain security inside and outside the cricket stadium. There will be police patrolling in every nook and corner of the city during the match, so that no untoward incident happens during this period.
