New Delhi: Locally, investment in gold exchange-traded funds has quadrupled compared to last year i.e. by 2024. The enthusiasm of investors in India regarding gold ETFs can be gauged from the fact that except April 2024, inflow of new money was recorded in gold ETFs in all the remaining 11 months. Investment in Gold ETF will reach Rs 2.5 crore in 2024, reaching Rs 11,266 crore.
According to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), during December 2024, a total of 18 gold ETFs (gold exchange traded funds) in the country will invest Rs. There was a net inflow of Rs 640.16 crore, which is 625 percent more than in December 2023. During the same period last year, a total of 15 gold ETFs in the country had only Rs. According to the latest data received from the World Gold Council, during the last month of 2024 i.e. December, there has been an increase of $ 0.8 billion in investment in gold ETFs globally. However, in terms of volume, investment declined by 3.6 tonnes during this period.
