Investment increased in livestock and dairy sector in Purvanchal: Dharampal Singh

Uttar Pradesh Livestock and Dairy Development Minister Dharampal Singh said that under the ground breaking ceremony organized in the capital Lucknow, the foundation stone of 532 investment projects worth Rs 2131.65 crore was laid in the Livestock Department. With the implementation of these projects, 123167 people will get employment. He said that the foundation stone of maximum 111 projects has been laid in Ayodhya division.

Dharampal Singh was reviewing the investment projects of the Livestock and Milk Development Department as part of the ground breaking ceremony in his office room at Vidhan Bhavan on Tuesday. Under region wise Invest UP, special interest has been shown in JBC by 229 investors in Purvanchal, 145 in Madhyanchal, 114 in Paschimanchal and 44 in Bundelkhand. He informed that investments have been made in the areas of Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund, Poultry Sector and National Livestock Mission. This will lead to rapid growth in the area of ​​milk production and increase the income of cattle herders.

The Livestock Minister said that the foundation stone of 253 projects worth Rs 10021.66 crore was laid in the dairy sector. Upon completion of the projects, 25338 people will get employment. He said that the maximum investment of Rs 1002 crore has been made in Bareilly, which is historic. Similarly, investment of Rs 800 crore in Baghpat district is a remarkable achievement. Apart from these, Rs 600 crore is being invested in Barabanki, Rs 502 crore in Hapur, Rs 450 crore in Meerut, Rs 422.70 crore in Bulandshahr, Rs 410 crore in Kanpur Dehat and Rs 300 crore in Shahjahanpur.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Dr. Rajneesh Dubey said that under the guidance of the Livestock Minister, various welfare programs are being implemented in the field of milk production as well as animal husbandry, which will increase the income of farmers and animal husbandry. Has been.
