Many companies will start this from Thursday itself. She will start posting her list of requirements on the portal. However, this portal for the youth will start from October 12. The central government claims that about one crore youth will benefit from this internship scheme. They will get experience of working in top 500 companies of the country, which will be useful to them in future.
CII and Ministry of Corporate Affairs are working together
According to a report in Business Today, companies across the country are excited about this scheme. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is working closely with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the success of this scheme. According to the report, companies will be included in this scheme keeping in mind their 3-year CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) expenditure. It is being brought under the Prime Minister's Skill and Employment Development Package.
Under this scheme of the Central Government, the government will give internship to the youth of 21 to 24 years of age. The objective of this scheme is to give the youth the experience of corporate life, which will make it easier for the youth to get jobs. In this internship program, the youth will also be given a monthly stipend of Rs 5000 by the company. For this, Rs 500 will be given from the company's CSR fund, the remaining Rs 4500 will be given by the government.
These youth will get a chance
10th pass youth between 21 to 24 years can participate in this scheme. However, he should not be in any job. Apart from this, students doing IIT, IIM, IISER, CA and any other professional course will also not be able to participate in it.
Apart from this, youth from families of government employees and those whose family income is more than Rs 8 lakh will also not be included in the internship scheme.
Will have to apply on the portal, from there youth will be selected for 12 months.
To apply for the internship scheme, you have to go to the portal and create your profile. Apart from this, e-KYC will also have to be done through Aadhar card. Along with this, you will also have to submit a declaration form including your eligibility. After this, the number of candidates for each post will be doubled by the portal. After this the companies will select the right people from them and send them offer letters. In this, 50 percent of the training will be useful. After completion of 12 months internship, your certificate will be uploaded on the portal itself.
