The notification states that some anti-social elements are sharing inflammatory speeches, pictures, videos etc. on social media and messaging apps. Due to which violence is likely to increase further.
Along with this, it has been decided to keep all government and private schools and colleges closed for two days from Wednesday. On Monday, thousands of students gathered in Imphal and took out a rally demanding action against drone-missile attackers. Meanwhile, all the protesters took out a rally towards the Raj Bhavan. During which the security forces stopped them, resulting in heavy clashes, police and security forces fired tear gas shells. Protests were also held by the students of Manipur University, the students protested by burning effigies. On the 6th, an attack took place in Moirang in which one person died. A person performing puja at the residence of the first Chief Minister of Manipur died, a big explosion took place in Trounglaobi village which caused heavy damage, although no one was injured.
