Lucknow, June 21 (HS). International Yoga Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. To celebrate International Yoga Day, which started from India, which gave a message to the world, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary performed yoga asanas in the morning and gave the message of a healthy body and disease-free physique.
On the tenth International Yoga Day, Uttar Pradesh President Bhupendra Chaudhary performed yoga with party workers at the BJP state headquarters in the morning. While performing yoga, Bhupendra Chaudhary said in his message that on the occasion of International Yoga Day, pledge to make yoga a part of your lifestyle. Ensure your role in building a healthy society and prosperous India.
Bhupendra Chaudhary said that Yoga, the unique heritage of Indian culture, is an important achievement given by India to the whole world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the unimaginable work of spreading it to the whole world through his tireless efforts since the year 2014. Today Yoga has become a lifestyle of people all over the world.
In the yoga program organized at Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben practiced yoga on the tenth International Yoga Day and on this occasion the Chief Minister said that yoga is an invaluable gift of India's Rishi tradition, which keeps the body healthy along with mental and spiritual upliftment. Every person should make yoga a part of their regular routine.
BJP's State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh performed yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day in the Central Park of Samar Vihar Colony along with BJP's Metropolitan President Anand, MLC Mahendra Singh, former MSC Arvind Guddu, BJP leader Namrata Pathak along with BJP workers and residents of the Cantt Assembly constituency.
Many events were also organized on the occasion of International Yoga Day in other areas of the city. In which Divisional Railway Manager SM Sharma celebrated International Yoga Day with all the officers and employees of the division at the Officers Club Saket of Northern Railway, Lucknow. In the morning, the Divisional Railway Management practiced yoga vigorously at the Officers Club.
The tenth International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Lucknow University. Professors and students including Lucknow University Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Rai practiced yoga collectively. Professor Alok Rai said on this occasion that continue this practice. Stay healthy yourself and give the message of staying healthy to others as well.
All the police officers celebrated the tenth International Yoga Day under the leadership of Director General of Police Prashant Kumar at the Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters in Lucknow. A group yoga practice program was organized in the Police Headquarters early in the morning and police officers were seen doing yoga. In the program organized at the Police Headquarters, Director General of Police Prashant explained the tricks of yoga and appealed to adopt it in life.
International Yoga Day programs were organized in all the police stations of Uttar Pradesh Police across the state. In which policemen were found practicing yoga out of interest. In Lucknow Commissionerate too, the message of maintaining good health was given by practicing yoga inside the police stations.
