Bhopal, 27 September (HS). International Tourism Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department on Friday. To make this moment special and memorable, various cultural, exciting and entertaining activities were organized across the city. The tourism day started with Yoga, Zumba and Cyclothon at Vote Club.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has organized many exciting programs based on the theme of 'Tourism and Peace'. Efforts were made to make people understand the importance of healthy living and tourism through activities like Yoga, Zumba and Cyclothon. Starting at 6 am, more than 300 people participated in the Yoga and Zumba sessions, enjoying physical and mental health benefits while being entertained and socializing with each other through fun dance forms.
More than 500 people cycled from the Board Club at 8 am in the Cyclothon to spread the message of environmental protection and also visited various sites in the city. Apart from this, painting, rangoli, flower decoration and mehndi competitions were held in Gol Ghar. The names of the winners of this competition were announced in the afternoon at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center (Minto Hall). After which Bhopal Vividha Academy gave Ganesh Vandana and other cultural presentations. At the closing ceremony, white and blue balloons were released into the sky to convey the message of tourism and peace.
