Lucknow, 17 February (HS). On the occasion of the ground breaking ceremony (GBC 4.0) to be held on February 19 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in the capital Lucknow, the people of the state will be able to see the first look of Uttar Pradesh's first International Film City which is going to be built in Jewar. The government has allotted a stall at the GBC 4.0 venue to showcase Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dream project International Film City before the people.
Boney Kapoor's company Bayview Projects LLP and Bhutani Group, which received the bid for Film City, are designing the replica of Film City at this stall. The stall will showcase the features of the International Film City through prototypes and curved screens. In this, sets ranging from the grand Ram temple built in Ayodhya to Kedarnath and from London to prime locations of Canada will be displayed as part of the film city. During this time, along with director of Bayview Company and veteran Bollywood director and producer Boney Kapoor, Ashish Bhutani and Ali Chautali of Bhutani Group will also be present. He has also expressed his commitment to make the Film City world class as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi. It is noteworthy that the Yogi government is going to launch an investment of more than Rs 10 lakh crore in the state through a ground breaking ceremony on February 19. It is to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Veteran Bollywood director and producer Boney Kapoor said that our focus is to make the stall being built in GBC along with the International Film City perfect, so that a wonderful picture of a proposed film city can be presented. He said that for this, state-of-the-art cameras are being imported from Singapore. If this happens on time the stall will look more realistic.
He told that our art director has shared the complete details of the design of Film City for the stall. We are short on time, but hopefully this stall will also look world class like the real Film City. Boney Kapoor also told that by being present in Lucknow on 19th, he will give complete information about the Film City. He assured that this film city, which is going to be built under Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, will become a world class film city as per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi and when he comes here after its construction, he will also be happy to see its aura.
The stall will be ready by 18th February
Rajeev Arora, GM of Boney Kapoor's firm Bayview Projects LLP, said that in the stall that will be set up for Film City during GBC, we will try to show the qualities of Film City through a globe and a curved screen. In this, an attempt will be made to show what the overall look of the proposed Film City on Yamuna Expressway could be. In Film City, we are going to install many types of permanent sets including theme park, amusement park, studios, golf club, major temples, replicas of which will also be seen at this stall. The grand Ram temple built in Ayodhya, Kedarnath Dham included in the four Dhams of Uttarakhand along with major religious places of the country and a set of major state-wise locations will also be a part of it. Not only this, Film City will also have sets from prime locations like London, Canada, Switzerland, while five star hotels, fountains and many other things will be included. Work on the stall of Film City has started from Friday and will be completed by 18th February.
Film City stall will attract attention
According to Arunveer Singh, CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Film City is the dream project of Chief Minister Yogi. It is to be prepared as per international standards. Recently, Boney Kapoor and Bhutani Group have successfully won the project by completing the bidding process conducted by YIDA in a transparent manner regarding Film City. This project is to be implemented soon. Its construction will give a new identity not only to the Yida region but to the entire Uttar Pradesh. It will be a center of attraction for film makers as well as tourists from across the country and the world. For this reason, it has been decided to display the model of International Film City on the occasion of GBC 4.0. Surely this stall will be successful in attracting everyone's attention by integrating the characteristics of Film City.
More than 30 films can be shot simultaneously
Many facilities have been included in the International Film City which is going to be built in Yida area. It covers major Indian outdoor locations statewise. Under this, the entire infrastructure related to film production will be provided to the filmmakers under one roof. It will be possible to shoot more than 30 films simultaneously here. Here, fixed statewise outdoor locations covering all major destinations in India will be made available. A Bollywood based amusement park will also be built here for tourists.
