Jaipur, March 1 (HS). Rajasthan High Court has put an interim stay on issuing the final selection list and appointment order in the matter of challenging the priority given to the candidates of Jaipur district in the ANM Recruitment-2023, which is being done on the basis of Urgent Temporary Basis. Along with this, the court has sought reply from the Medical Secretary, Medical Director and CMHO Jaipur by March 22. Justice Ganesh Ram Meena gave this order on the petition of Alwar resident Sanyogita Yadav.
In the petition, advocate Sogat Roy said that the state government issued a recruitment advertisement on August 11, 2023 for the appointment of ANM on the basis of UTB. In this, it was asked to give priority only to the candidates of Jaipur district. In such a situation, since the petitioner was a resident of Alwar district outside Jaipur, he was not called for document verification. Challenging this in the High Court, she said that she was coming in the merit list, but she was not called because she was from outside Jaipur. Whereas under the Medical and Health Subordinate Services Rules 1965, appointment should be done on the basis of merit only and this cannot be denied. Therefore, instructions for document verification of the petitioner should be given to him and he should be appointed. While hearing the case, the court stayed the final selection list and appointment order. Hearing which, the single bench issued notice to the concerned officers and put an interim stay on the final selection list and appointment order.
