Dehradun, 16 March (Hindu). Wings will face Warriors in the title match of the Inter-Secretariat T-20 Champions Trophy on Sunday. In the first semi-final played today, Wings defeated Danger by 19 runs and in the second semi-final, Warriors defeated Hurricane by 5 wickets.
On Saturday, the first semi-final match of the tournament was played between Secretariat Wings and Danger of 18 overs each at Maharana Pratap Cricket Ground.
Batting first, Wings scored 124 runs for 05 wickets in total 18 overs. Sundar scored 51 runs and Ajit scored 38 runs. In bowling for Danger, Amit Tomar took 03 wickets and Fazil took 02 wickets.
While chasing the target, Danger's team was all out for 105 runs. Noor scored 28 runs, Manoj scored 19 runs. Dinesh took 03 wickets. Man of the match was given to Sundar. Fighter of the match was given to Amit Tomar.
The second semi-final of the day was played between Warriors and Hurricanes of 15 overs each. Hurricanes were all out for 93 in 14.3 overs. Ravi scored 18 runs, Anuj and Vinod scored 17 runs each. Pawan Aswal took 04 wickets.
The Warriors team, chasing the target, achieved the target by losing 05 wickets in 14.4 overs. Jitendra scored 28 runs and Sachin scored 24 runs. Omish took 2 wickets, Vinod, Sunil and Anuj took 1 wicket each. Man of the match was given to Pawan Aswal, while Fighter of the match was given to Omish.
In the final of the women's section on Sunday morning, Secretariat Royal Challengers will face Secretariat Avengers, while in the men's section, Secretariat Wings will face the Warriors.
