Varanasi, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). Inter-faculty handball tournament started in Banaras Hindu University from Tuesday. In the competition, the first match was played between the Faculty of Commerce and the Faculty of Social Sciences, the second match was played between the Institute of Science and DAV College. In the first match, the Faculty of Social Sciences defeated the Commerce Faculty overwhelmingly by 22-3. Whereas, the second match was played between Science Institute and DAV in which Science Institute defeated DAV College by the score of 21-7.
The chief guest of the inauguration ceremony of the competition was Prof. Emeritus Professor of the Department of Psychology and former General Secretary of the University Sports Council. A.P. Singh got introduced to the players. And wished for their bright future. Pro. Giving advice to play the game in the spirit of the game, Singh also described the game as the key to the all-round development of the students. On this occasion Professor B.C.
