The Quran is the holy book of Islam. This book is called different from other religious books because it is believed that this book was written by Allah himself through Muhammad, but when someone insults this holy book written by Allah himself, then no one can tolerate it.
One such incident has come to light from Pakistan. In this incident, the accused had allegedly burnt some pages of the Quran. As soon as this news spread like wildfire, the investigating agencies arrested the accused but the angry mob freed the accused from police custody and set the police station on fire. The shocking thing is that the mob dragged the accused out, shot him and hanged his body.

Swat District Police Officer (DPO) Zahidullah said a man from Sialkot in Punjab allegedly burnt some pages of the Quran in Swat's Madayan area on Thursday night. Zahidullah said the suspect was detained and brought to the Madayan police station.
The angry mob gathered outside the police station and demanded that the suspect be handed over. When the police refused to take the law into their hands and hand over the accused, a man from the mob opened fire, forcing the police to retaliate. One person was seriously injured in the firing from both sides and is undergoing treatment at Madayan Hospital. Later, some people barged into the police station and shot the suspect dead. After the firing, they dragged the suspect's body outside and hanged him there. The mob did not stop here, they set the body on fire after hanging the accused and finally set the police station on fire as well.
The official said that 8 people were injured in the violence that erupted due to this incident. Efforts are being made to control the situation after this incident. Chief Minister KPK Ali Amin Gandapur has taken cognizance of the incident and has sought a report from the provincial police chief. The Chief Minister directed to take all emergency measures to control the situation and requested the people to remain calm.
