In continuation of the earlier instructions given by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya to expedite the departmental works, a detailed review meeting of the remaining works under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-III) was organized today on 12.02.2026 under the chairmanship of Shri Ankur Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency (UPRRDA).
Mr. Ankur Kaushik, Chief Executive Officer, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency said that in relation to the orders of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Keshav Prasad Maurya and the guidelines of the Government of India, a review meeting was held with the Public Works Department (PWD) and Rural Engineering Department (RED) and senior departmental officials.
The Chief Executive Officer gave clear instructions that all the remaining works under PMGSY-III should, in any case, be completed before March 31, 2026. During the review, district-wise progress, condition of roads under construction, quality control, financial expenditure and compliance with the prescribed time limit were reviewed point-wise.
He said that regular monitoring of the progress of works should be ensured and accountability should be fixed at every level. In projects where the progress is less than the expected level, speed should be provided by making a special action plan. Also, the construction work should be carried out as per the guidelines laid down by PMGSY without any compromise on quality.
