Patna, 01 August (HS). Police Headquarters Patna issued guidelines regarding the contribution of 1275 candidates for the post of Sub Inspector of Police on Thursday. On 09.07.2024, the recommendation of 1275 candidates for the post of Sub Inspector of Police has been received by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission. Among these candidates, there are 822 men and 450 women and three transgender candidates.
For the first time, transgenders (01 from Patna, 01 from Samastipur and 01 from Sitamarhi) are being appointed in Bihar Police. The folder of the selected/recommended candidates has been made available in the regional police office of their home district. Where, from today till 10th August, after eligibility, character verification and medical examination of these candidates, if found suitable for appointment, then the appointment letter will be issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Police related to their home district.
The selected candidates will have to personally report to the concerned appointing authority with the following documents. If they do not submit their contribution within the stipulated period, their candidature may be cancelled.
