Shimla, 13 April (HS). Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that various institutions and individuals are working to take the country and the state forward on the path of progress by making important contributions to the society, which are a source of inspiration for others.
The Governor was addressing as the chief guest at the release ceremony of the coffee table book (High Flyers of Himachal Pradesh-2024) organized by a media group in Shimla on Saturday.
He said that this program reflects the success of extraordinary individuals who have dedicated their lives for the progress of this hill state. He congratulated the people who have contributed to the progress of Himachal, who have been mentioned in the coffee table book. He said that these individuals are from various backgrounds including academicians, businessmen, entrepreneurs, social workers, youth etc.
The Governor described 'Himachal Pradesh High Flyers 2024', which have contributed to the progress of Himachal, as a source of inspiration for future generations and a role model for the society.
Shukla said that today is the era of social media, but print media has special importance and this difference keeps the readers connected with the newspapers. Congratulating the organizers of the event, he said that they have done a remarkable job of bringing together on one platform individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the society.
He said that apart from doing commendable work of employment generation through their start-ups, these institutions and individuals have also made a remarkable contribution in increasing the enthusiasm of the people by encouraging them through programs.
On this occasion, the Governor released the Coffee Table Book (High Flyers of Himachal Pradesh – 2024) and also honored 35 High Flyers of Himachal Pradesh.
