Instead of running after jobs, youth should become job creators: Governor

Jaipur, 7 December (Hindustan Reporter). Governor Haribhau Bagde has said that youth who have obtained degrees from universities should become job creators instead of running after jobs. He said that universities are centers of knowledge. In this, students should not only be made to study textbooks but special attention should also be given to how to increase their intellectual capacity and how to develop entrepreneurial tendencies in them.

Governor Bagde was addressing the ninth convocation ceremony of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule University on Saturday. He said that education is a continuous process. Only that education is meaningful which shows the way to live life in a better way. Recalling the contribution made by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule in social service and women’s education, he said that he was a man of the era. At a time when the society was away from women’s education, she opened a girls’ school. Taught his wife and made her the first female teacher of the country. He called for working for the spread of education by adopting the ideals of Jyotiba Phule.

Bagde stressed on the important role of the government as well as the private sector in spreading education. He said that morality and ideal life values ​​are very important in education. Biographies of great men always inspire us. He called upon the students to use the education acquired for national development.

Discussing the country’s new education policy, he said that it is related to providing quality global level education to every section of the society without any discrimination. He stressed on enhancing the intellectual capacity of the students with the thinking “nation first”. In the beginning he awarded degrees and medals to the students.
