In the same sequence, on Monday, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay, an investigation team formed by the district administration reached Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan Central Jail for a surprise inspection.
During the surprise inspection, Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar Singh, Sadar SDM Ashok Kumar and eight magistrates along with police personnel were involved. This inspection process lasted for about two and a half hours. In this surprise inspection, the district administration team inspected the hospital, canteen, barracks and other places of the Central Jail. SDM said that surprise inspection of the jail is done at regular intervals. The district administration is making its presence felt at every point regarding law and order. He said that no very serious material was found during this inspection.
